After an impressive regular season, the Kindersley Stallions head into playoffs later this week.

“We have had a pretty good regular season so far,” noted team manager, Austin Jamieson; “We’ve played hard and the results are showing.”

A fledgling team in Kindersley, the Stallions were formed early this spring after an overload of interest in Senior Men’s Baseball motivated the Kindersley Raiders to divide into two teams. Now sporting the youngest members in Kindersley’s Senior Baseball, the Stallions are making the senior teams in Midwest Saskatchewan stand up and take notice.

With the regular season ending with a strong 12-0-1, the Stallions await the results of some wild card games before launching into the playoffs. Jamieson says the Stallions expect to play a team in the Elrose/Beachy League.

Eventually, the Stallions will yet again face the Kindersley Raiders in the playoffs. Jamieson noted the Raiders will likely be the most threatening team the Stallions will need to face during the playoffs. “They are a great team, full of excellent players; I expect nothing but tough games when we face them.”
