WINNIPEG, May 29 (CNS) – Seeding is close to wrapping up in Manitoba with roughly 90 percent of acres planted, according to the latest crop report from Manitoba Agriculture. Delays are occurring in the northwest and southwest regions though due to wet weather.

In the northwest, rainfall amounts varied from 15 to 25 millimetres throughout the region during the week ended May 29. Overall seeding in the northwest region is estimated to be 70 percent complete, the report said.
