Defence lawyer expected to attend by teleconference
The case of a Regina woman charged with human smuggling will be in court in Estevan, Sask., on Monday.
Michelle Omoruyi, 43, was arrested April 14 while driving a vehicle carrying nine foreign nationals near the North Portal border crossing.
She was charged with one count of human smuggling under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and one count of conspiracy to commit human smuggling.
