Christianna Petrakos Is Bringing Counseling and Psychology Services to Kindersley
Beginning in September, Christianna Petrakos is bringing counseling and psychology services to Kindersley and area for ages 16 and over.
A registered psychologist, Petrakos works with the team at Brunswick Creek to support individuals throughout the Southwest. She offers both virtual and in-person counselling and psychotherapy sessions in Swift Current, Leader, and soon, Kindersley!
Petrakos completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field of Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at York University and the University of Toronto. She is a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
Being born and raised in Toronto, Petrakos has gained a considerable amount of experience working with a diverse range of individuals, as well as supporting clients through a broad spectrum of presenting concerns. As a mental health advocate, Petrakos is driven to share her knowledge and care to the people of Kindersley (and surrounding area) through offering empathic, effective, and evidence-based interventions. Therapy with Petrakos is always trauma-informed, client-directed, non-judgmental, intersectional, and culturally sensitive.
“I’m looking forward to working together in efforts to end mental health stigma, as well as encourage individuals towards a lifestyle of inner peace and healing in the Southwest,” said Petrakos.
