Gopher Survey
The Ministry of Agriculture is gathering information from producers about local ground squirrels and other burrowing rodents, natural enemies of these animals, and control strategies. This information helps government provide producers up to date information and it contributes to understanding factors affecting burrowing rodent populations and forecasting local rodent pressures.
A robust surveillance program also contributes to program development and improvements and helps evaluate the status of this species as a declared pest in Saskatchewan.
Information collected will only be used for the purposes identified for this particular survey. Your participation is voluntary and confidential. You can leave the survey at any time; it should take about 5 minutes minutes to complete. The Government of Saskatchewan will not be responding directly to individuals or organizations that participate.
