A Busy Summer for WCA
It has been a busy and exciting summer for West Central Abilities, filled with lots of activities and sunshine! One of the highlights was participating in the Park-a-Thon, hosted by the Kindersley Museum and Tourism Center. The group spent the day exploring local parks and enjoying the outdoors. To top it off, they were fortunate to receive a $10 Shop Kindersley card as a prize, which added to the fun!
Along with exploring the town’s parks, another favorite summer activity has been visiting the Kindersley Aquatic Centre. Almost weekly, the group makes use of the pool for exercise, swimming, and play, followed by some relaxation in the hot tub–these visits provide an excellent way to stay active.
West Central Abilities extends a heartfelt thank you to the lifeguards, the staff at the Kindersley Aquatic Centre, and the Town of Kindersley for maintaining such a wonderful, accessible facility that makes everyone feel welcome. Having these spaces available to the community truly enriches the lives of the individuals who use them.
