Klippers VS Biggar

The Co-op Arena was the venue for the Kindersley Senior Klippers and the visiting Biggar Nationals. The Sr. Klips won by a score of 5 to 2 but the play was closer than the score suggests. Both goalies made great saves early to keep their teams in it. Shayne Neigum potted a goal and assistant Jr. coach, Tyler Traptow chipped in with 2 assists and was a force to reckoned with all game long. Trapper hasn’t lost his edge and played a gritty and tough game.

Goaltender Cody Bestwitherick filled in nicely for Logan Drackett and made the difference in the 3rd period. Lane Gilliss also made a huge contribution with 2 goals and 1 assist. Rounding out the goal scorers were Kyle Donaldson and Dylan Georget. The Srs. finished the regular season with 10 wins and 8 losses.

Play-offs are coming up next; both league and provincials. Let’s cheer on the Sr. Klippers!
