Children’s Hospital Radiothon Raises a Record-Breaking$1.15 Million for Saskatchewan Children and Families

Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon presented by CIBC Wood Gundy
wrapped up its 21st year of broadcasting, on 32 radio stations across Saskatchewan, and this year
raised a RECORD-BREAKING $1,158,113 for Saskatchewan children and families, providing critical
care to the sickest children in the province.

Donations made to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon will enhance provincial pediatric
intensive care by providing better access to pediatric transports, virtual robotics, cutting edge
technology and state-of-the-art medical equipment at JPCH and across Saskatchewan.

“The past two days of Radiothon have been a series of miraculous moments. The remarkable
contributions made will allow our Foundation to ensure that we have the most up to date pediatric
and maternal equipment in Saskatchewan’s only dedicated maternal and children’s hospital.
Thank you for tuning in, picking up the phone, and making a difference in the lives of our youngest
patients. Your contribution will help us reach the over *80,000 babies and children that visit JPCH
each year. The announcement today is a testament to the power of partnership and collective
compassion revealing the hearts of Saskatchewan people, who once again demonstrate that ‘we
take care of one another.’ From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all of the incredible support
from the families and kids who shared their stories, giving us hope and inspiration each day.
Genuine appreciation to the sponsors, media partners, dedicated donors and volunteers.
Together, we can ensure that children reach their highest potential,” said Brynn Boback-Lane,
President and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
