Senior Klipper vs Unity Miners

The Co-Op Arena at the WCEC in Kindersley was all abuzz because of the Sr. Klippers. Their record to start the season was 2 – 0 while their opponents, the Unity Miners were 0 – 2.

Klipper goalie Luke Sproule got his first start in net and was strong all game as the Sr. Klippers took the game 9 – 1. Unity goalie Brett Van der Veen faced an absolute volley of shots from the home squad and was extremely busy. Unfortunately there was no back up so he had to play the full game. The Miners only had 12 skaters also.

All the Sr. Klippers played a tough, determined and disciplined game and it reflected in the score.

The next home game for the blue and gold is Friday, November 25th as the Biggar Nationals visit. Puck drop is at 8:30.
