Kindersley Hosts U9 Festival!
The U9 Festival was recently held in Kindersley and it was a great success!
The festival was a unique two-day tournament for U9 players. Modified U9 rules were utilized to encourage development and participation, regardless of player skill level. There was also a Skills Zone and FUN Zone which added excitement to the event.
“We are the only community outside of Saskatoon and Regina that has hosted this festival in Saskatchewan. We had eight teams that consisted of players from Kindersley, Eatonia, Eston, Luseland, Macklin, Elrose, and Swift Current.
Each team played four games and had two skills events put on by softball Saskatchewan and on Saturday night all the kids enjoyed pizza from Panago and Water sliding at the Kindersley aquatic centre,” shared
