Karen Francis Nominated for 31st Annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award

Mon Amie Boutique has made a worldwide footprint in its short time in business bringing an urban shopping experience to rural Saskatchewan. The success of this business has caught people’s attention and local entrepreneur Karen Francis has been nominated for RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award in the “The Ones To Watch” category.
The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards recognize and celebrate the strides of Canada’s most accomplished, influential, and impactful women. Winning the award would bring National attention to Karen and Mon Amie Boutique.
Karen was honoured to receive notification of her nomination which she sees as a “huge opportunity” to continue to grow her brand. She’s currently working to expand her online business and attract business beyond Kindersley and Area. Karen is also hoping to attend more events promoting her brand as well as hosting events in-store. With a true entrepreneurial spirit, she’s always looking for new ideas to promote her business.
Karen says she is still “awe-struck” at the nomination “I keep asking myself why I got nominated for this award? There are so many other deserving women out there!” If selected as a finalist Karen will attend the Awards Gala that will be hosted on November 22, 2023 in Toronto.
