Kindersley Chamber GoFundMe Close to Reaching $7,500 Target

The Kindersley Chamber of Commerce is close to reaching their goal of $7,500 to help the West Central Healing Centre paper and shingle their roof.

Setting up a GoFundMe page, the Chamber has seen incredible support from businesses and individuals from the area.

“I’m very happy with the progress of the donations the Chamber’s GoFundMe is raising. The Town of Kindersley, Kindersley residents and businesses have a long history of coming together and getting things done when called upon,” said Jeff Soveran, Vice President of Kindersley’s Chamber of Commerce.

Michelle Weber, Executive Director & All Crisis Teams of the West Central Crisis Centre explained the new building development needed to be put on construction hold due to financial pressures triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and fallout pressures, ultimately  leaving some of the pivotal tasks such as the roof, unfinished.

The first, of four buildings, will serve as the Operational Hub and Family Programing Centre, with space for emergency beds for children.
