The RCMP would like to warn the public calls are circulating claiming to be from the Canada Revenue Agency.
These calls state that you have a compromised SIN number, an outstanding case against you, owe taxes, or have committed a financial crime.
This is a scam.
Do not provide personal information, do not send payment of any kind, instead report the phone number to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
