After Violating Health Orders, Regina Woman Fined $2,800 for House Party

Police said when they arrived at the lady’s house, roughly 30 people were running away through the backyard and over the fence.

A house party this past weekend violated Saskatchewan’s public health order around private gatherings during the novel coronavirus pandemic, according to the Regina Police Service (RPS).

Officers were called to the area of 12th Avenue North and Sturdy Street for a report of a party going on with roughly 50 people in attendance around 1 a.m. on Nov. 1.
