Woman faces charges of Procurement of a Minor to Offer Sexual Services: Saskatoon Police

The Saskatoon Police Service Vice and Human Trafficking Unit has made an arrest in connection with a sexual procurement investigation, involving minors.

On December 21, 2021, an investigation was opened regarding a local, online spa business. It was believed the business had procured, advertised and facilitated sexual services involving minors. As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old woman was arrested on February 16th, 2022.

The 23-year-old woman faces charges of Procurement of a Person to Offer Sexual Services, Procurement of a Minor to Offer Sexual Services (x2), Advertising Sexual Services, Material Benefit from Sexual Services and Material Benefit from Sexual Services Provided by a Minor.

The Saskatoon Police Service VICE and Human Trafficking Unit members work to connect victims and survivors, of human trafficking and sexual exploitation within the sex trade, with the community resources they need.
