Rural Saskatchewan Event Organizer Announces Virtual Well-Being Conference
Jennifer Bews Events of Eatonia, SK, is thrilled to announce Hindsight2020, a well-being conference to be held online at hindsight2020sask.ca on Wednesday, February 24th and February 25th, 2021. The day will include presentations, workshops, and entertainment featuring presenters Dr. Jody Carrington (Speaker, Author, Game Changer), Jesse Thistle (Indigenous Rights Activist, Best-Selling Author, Assistant Professor of Metis Studies), Jess Tetu (Speaker and Entrepreneur) and many more. Tickets will be available as of January 15th via hindsight2020sask.ca. Early bird tickets are $49+tax until Feb 15th, and regular price tickets are $59+tax. Bews will donate 5% of ticket sales directly to Creative Kids Saskatchewan.
Hindsight2020 is Bews’ first project following her maternity leave, and the first conference that the business has hosted of its kind. “The conference is an effort to bring people together in Saskatchewan in response to a year that has brought on and brought to light many challenges and injustices in our society” says Bews.
This conference will include educators, entertainers, and creatives sharing their experience and response to a year of crisis and stress. The overarching theme is well-being and resilience presented through the lens of mindful businesses, creativity as an outlet, mental health, equity, social justice advocacy, and more.
Hindsight2020 will attract Saskatchewan residents who are interested in humanistic efforts, looking for ways to regain focus, struggling personally or professionally due to the pandemic, and looking for ways to connect during these isolating times. Over 17 local and national speakers and entertainers have joined the line-up:
