SaskPower Ground Cables Stolen From Halbrite Area
The Weyburn RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance regarding a number of thefts from SaskPower facilities in the past few weeks.
Two SaskPower substations in the Halbrite area reported heavy ground cables were stolen. Not only is this incredibly dangerous, it could also cause power outages to large areas in Saskatchewan.
The Weyburn RCMP would like to ask that if anyone sees people or vehicles at any SaskPower substations in the evening/overnight hours, that do not appear to belong there, to contact the RCMP.
