Rosetown RCMP Calls of Service From Feb. 19th To 25th
On February 19th, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Highway 4 north of Rosetown, SK. The vehicle was towed as it was a road hazard. They also received a request for a mental health act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Rosetown Hospital for assessment. A report was called in of an unwanted individual at a residence in Harris, SK. Members attended and arrested a 34 year old female from Regina with Assault on a Police Officer, Resist/Obstruct Peace Officer and Mischief.
February 20th saw Rosetown RCMP act as mediators in a family dispute.
On February 21st, RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 4 near Elrose, SK. There were no injuries and the matter is still under investigation.
On the 22nd, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a traffic collision with a deer. The matter was reported for insurance purposes. A report was also received of a business alarm. Members attended and it was deemed a false alarm.
Rosetown RCMP received a report of articles in the ditch near Zealandia, SK on February 24th. Members spoke to the complainant and nothing further was required. RCMP also received a report of fraud. The matter is still under investigation.
On the 25th, RCMP received a traffic complaint on Highway 44. The matter is still under investigation.
There were 2 Traffic related charges issued during this time.
