Vehicle on Fire, Uttered Threats, Erratic Driver Part of Rosetown RCMP’s Calls for Service

On April14 at 6:54am– Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes. At 7:32am – there was a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. At 12:29pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a business in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 7:05pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

On April 15 at 9:55am– Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

On April 16 at 8:36pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and nothing further was required.

On April 17 at 5:59pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in Rosetown, SK. Members attended and recovered a stolen vehicle.

On April 18 at 8:23am – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an assault in Elrose, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 10:06am – A complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 was received. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 10:58am – there was a report of an abandoned vehicle at a rural location. The matter is still under investigation. At 3:08pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a residence in Zealandia, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 5:16pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.

On April 19 at 1304hrs – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications in Elrose, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 2:24pm – a report of a two vehicle collision in Rosetown, SK was received. The matter is still under investigation. At 1613hrs – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a vehicle fire on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

On April 20 at 11:16am – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of theft in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

There were 36 Traffic related charges issued, 2 911 mis-dial calls and 2 false alarm calls.
