TODAY: Radiothon at JPCH Supporting Province’s Only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon presented by CIBC Wood Gundy is BACK live on location at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH) and broadcasting province-wide on November 7th and 8th, 2023. Over the next two days, listeners from all across Saskatchewan will hear heartfelt stories from children, families, and medical professionals at JPCH from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily across 32 radio stations.

This year’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon focuses on saving young lives, enhancing pediatric care, and bringing critical resources to Saskatchewan’s ONLY Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), providing critical care to the sickest children in the province.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a crucial provincial hub whose highly skilled medical professionals have specialized training to navigate life-threatening conditions and save Saskatchewan kids’ lives. Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital has over *80,000 babies and children visits annually and *62% of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit patients are from outside of Saskatoon. With your donation, every child in Saskatchewan will have access to critical care regardless of where they live.

A huge thank you to our dedicated supporters of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, Gord
and Barb Broda of Prince Albert who are matching Radiothon donations up to $150,000!
“Healing happens faster for children when they can stay close to their family while receiving care
at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. Keeping kids in our own province is vital for not only our
children but also Saskatchewan families which strengthens our entire province,” said Barb Broda.
“Every donation to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon matters, and we are proud to double
your donation with our match, up to $150,000. Let’s make a difference for our province’s children
together,” adds Gord Broda.

“We are excited to bring our Foundation’s provincial Radiothon back live-on-location at Jim
Pattison Children’s Hospital. We are not just raising funds, we are transforming Saskatchewan
children’s futures. With every donation, you are ensuring that over *80,000 Saskatchewan children
and babies who visit JPCH each year receive the exceptional care they deserve. One of the most
important things you may do today is pick up the phone and make a donation. It absolutely could
help save a child’s life,” said Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s
Hospital Foundation.
