New Principal at Springfield Colony School
Springfield Colony School is getting a new principal. Alexandra Graham, who currently teaches Grade 4 at North West Central School (NWCS) in Plenty, will take up the position in the fall.
“It is exciting to see Alex take up this new challenge,” stated Randy Emmerson, Sun West Director of Education, “she will bring energy, enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the school and colony.”
Ms. Graham received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. She also did work towards a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Regina. She holds an Early Childhood Educator Level I Certificate and a Teaching Treaties in the Classroom Certificate.
Ms. Graham has taught at NWCS since 2018 and has work and volunteer experience in assisting children and adults with special needs and providing football training to both senior and elementary students.
“I am truly honoured to have been given this opportunity at Springfield Colony,” stated Ms. Graham, “I can’t wait to continue my educational journey in this leadership role and become part of their community!”
