SJHL Gives Green Light for Upcoming Season
The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is planning for a full return to play Friday, September 24th, just two weeks later than the season would normally begin.
The league recently made the announcement for the puck to drop as a way to reassure players, coaches, volunteers and fans there will be a 2021-2022 season.
“The SJHL and the Saskatchewan Government thank the efforts of Saskatchewan people to follow the rules of the provincial health order and to get vaccinated. We are moving forward in our roadmap to get back to normal, which includes SJHL hockey starting this Fall,” Immigration and Career Training Minister Jeremy Harrison said.
