FoodMesh Sees Holiday Support
Kindersley and the surrounding area have come together in the season of giving to support FoodMesh Kindersley.
In under one week, the Smiley Hutterite colony, an anonymous donor, Buy-low Foods, Lisa Diamond and Rocky Mountain Equipment have donated food such as potatoes, cuts of pork, buns, turkeys, and vegetables to help make someone’s Christmas dinner a little brighter. Near the beginning of the month, Synergy Credit Union also donated $1000 that they collected during the year for their Jeans Day!
Better Together volunteers recently rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen preparing delicious Christmas Dinners, 150 meals in total!
It’s not too late to sign up to receive a Christmas dinner. Please fill out a sheet during FoodMesh pick up times (every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7-8pm) or call Barb 306 460 9304. Meals will be available for pickup between December 19-22.
