Town of Leader Provides Update On Disruption of Health Services
With disruptions to health services around the area, many residents are wondering what can be done.
This week, emergency services at the Kerrobert Health Centre experienced no physician services from 6 a.m. on July 26th to 8 a.m., July 27th.
Today, the Town of Leader released this statement via social media. “The Council of the Town of Leader has received a response from the Sask. Health Authority and a meeting between the two parties will be held in August in regards to the increased frequency of the Leader & District Healthcare Facility emergency department being put on temporary disruption. Mayor Wenzel continues to keep our MLA, Doug Steele, updated on the situation. Mr. Steele has spoken with the Minister of Health and has voiced the concerns of his constituents on this matter.
The Town has no additional information to share with residents at this time.”
