Volunteers Needed for Museum of Lights

The Kindersley and District Plains Museum has begun their search for volunteers for this year’s Museum of Lights. While it may seem a little early, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever as they are hoping not only to have a Walk of Lights but also an indoor celebration.

“We need as much help as we can get, everyone is welcome to come and help,” says Anna Polsfut, Museum secretary. “We will likely have a drive thru night for those with mobility troubles or those who aren’t yet comfortable with spending time in person.”

While last year’s event was slightly different due to COVID-19 restrictions, volunteers did an incredible job in creating a drive-thru Walk of Lights. The event kicked off on December 4th and in the first weekend alone the Museum raised $1,600 in donations.

For those interested in volunteering (outdoor set up will begin in October), please reach out to Anna Polsfut at 306-463-2675, or email her at communications@kindersleyca.
