Parkinson Community Virtual SuperWalk, September 11th

Once again the Parkinson Community is preparing for a virtual SuperWalk on September 11th, 2021. The reality of the Covid-19 pandemic has halted many things, but the perseverance of the Parkinson Community has made it clear that they will not let obstacles stand in their way.

They are determined and committed to continue providing support, education, advocacy and guidance to anyone touched by Parkinson. These services can not continue without the contributions and support from donors like our readers in the West Central Area. More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson’s and 25 plus are diagnosed every day, which is why ongoing research remains vital.

“With your continued support we can sustain these vital services and move forward with research that I am hopeful will ultimately find a cure for future generations,” said Nancy Kelley, facilitator for the Kindersley and area Parkinson’s Support Group.

It’s not where we walk. It’s why we walk. We walk together on the path to a world without Parkinson’s: No Matter What.

Please join the community for the virtual live opening ceremony at superwalk.ca (or on Facebook live) on Sept 11th, @ 11 a.m. ET.
