Safety Improvement Work Continues on Hwy 7

An update from Saskatchewan Highways.

Safety improvement work continues on Hwy 7 near Kindersley. Work includes:

– Removing the traffic lights at Main Street
– Installing a pedestrian traffic light at 2nd St
– Installing raised medians and concrete bulb outs
– Surfacing

Once this work is complete, traffic patterns at these intersections will change. This change means the traffic leaving the service roads will only be permitted to turn right onto Hwy 7. Left turn and through movement will no longer be possible. Photos show the work happening and sketches of the final traffic pattern once complete.
