Big Draft Day for Iron Horse Kindersley Junior Klippers!

Draft Day was a big one for the Iron Horse Kindersley Junior Klippers!

The draft was streamed across the SJHL social media channels as all 12 SJHL teams selected the top 2007 and 2008 born hockey players from across the province.

In the second selection, the Klippers selected: Defenseman Jaxon Herchak from the Warman Wildcats U18 AAA. Kindersley Native, Pryce Thiessen from the Tisdale Trojans Hockey Club. Defenseman Brady Simpson from the Swift Current AA program. Goalie Brady Carr from the Battlefords Stars AAA.

In the third round the Klippers selected: Forward Carter Cole from the Prince Albert Mintos. Defenseman Kai Packet from the Swift Current AA program. Forward Jonah Pinel from the AAA Moose Jaw Warriors.

In the fifth round the Klippers selected: Forward Cooper Flath from the Swift Current AA program.

In the sixth round the Klippers selected Defenseman Fynn Harasymchuk from the Saskatoon Blazers U18 AAA Hockey Club.

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers have traded Isaiah Arnold (D) to the Weyburn Red Wings in exchange for future considerations. Liam Bell (D) was traded to the Estevan Bruins Jr A Hockey Club in exchange for a 20th overall pick in this year’s draft and a PDF.
