
Rosetown Weekly Police Report
In addition to the below calls, there were 14 Traffic related charges issued and 3 false alarm calls.
October 22nd at 3:53p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the vehicle driver. At 6:22 p.m. – RCMP received a report of a domestic dispute in Fiske, SK. Members attended and a 42-year-old male from Alberta was charged with mischief and released for court. At 9:19 p.m. – A complaint of fireworks in Harris, SK, was received. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
October 23rd at 12:36 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision near Harris, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 6:56p.m. – RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. At 12:17p.m. – RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer. No injuries – matter was reported for insurance purposes.
October 24th at 11:57a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a family dispute. Members attended and a 17-year-old male from Swift Current was arrested and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief and fail to comply and remanded to Saskatoon for court.
October 25th at 10:53 a.m.– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries – matter was reported for insurance purposes.
October 26th at 12:03 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision near Tessier, SK. Members attended and the driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old male from Swift Current, was pronounced deceased at the scene. At 6:50p.m. – RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near McGee, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
October 27th at 12:54 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision in Rosetown, SK. A traffic ticket was issued for fail to yield to right of way at an intersection with a yield sign. At 7:54p.m.– RCMP received a report of motor vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries – matter reported for insurance purposes. At 11:39 p.m.– Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. The matter is still under investigation.
October 28th at 9:55 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4 near Elrose, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 11:14 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4 near Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.
