Travel Not Recommend for Kindersley and Surrounding Area

A Blizzard warning has been issued for Outlook, Kindersley & Swift Current for hazardous travel, 110 km/h gusts & poor visibility.

Multiple semis in the ditch, drifting snow and limited visibility are being reported around the area today.
At the time of writing, travel is not recommended on Highway 7 due to: ice covered roads, slush, icy or slippery sections, wet subject to freezing, drifting snow and poor visibility.
At 9: 40 a.m. the Highway Hotline reported that on Highway 7, 4km east of Alsask the highway was blocked due to semi-trucks jack-knifed. They are advising any travellers to slow down and watch for vehicles and persons
Roads around Biggar, Outlook, and Leader are reporting similar conditions and it is advised that if you do not need to travel today, please do not.
