The Kindersley Composite High School recently held their vegetable fundraiser, and it was an amazing success!
Thanks to the support of the community, a whopping 3,789 pounds of food will stay within the area, and will be donated to help feed families in need this holiday season.
The Kindersley Composite School gave a special thanks to G-Mac’s Ag Team for donating 100 bags of vegetables to this initiative!
The Kindersley Composite High School has kicked off their 3rd Annual Farm to School vegetable fundraiser.
With your vegetable purchase you will support leadership initiatives and activities in our local high school. The best part is, you can choose to purchase a vegetable bundle for your family OR donate a bundle to the Kindersley Food Bank or the Saskatoon Food Bank.
“The greatest thing about the fundraiser is that it’s healthy food, and buyers have the unique opportunity to help us raise money for student activities while helping with food security in our town and province over the holidays. It’s a win-win,” said Heidi Marchant, Kindersley Composite School Teacher and Career Counselor.
All online donation orders will go directly to the Saskatoon Food Bank. If you’d like your donated orders delivered to our local food bank or families in one of Kindersley’s schools, please comment on the KCS Facebook page post or contact Heidi Marchant, Kelsea Glencross, Deavin Vanthuyne, Alison Roddam or a KCS SLC member, they would be happy to add you to their order list! Orders are due November 19th and will be ready for pick up on December 1st.
