Serious Collision on Highway 11
Update
Highway #11 is now open.
Initial investigation has determined a northbound semi tractor-trailer unit jack-knifed on Highway #11 and a second northbound semi traveling behind the first collided with it.
The two occupants of the first semi did not report any injuries to police. The lone driver of the second semi was pronounced deceased. Their family has now been notified.
Investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing at this time by Craik Detachment and RCMP Collision Reconstruction.
First Update
Officers are still on scene at the serious collision on Highway #11. The road remains blocked with traffic rerouted for at least the next three hours while an investigation is conducted by an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.
We ask motorists to please slow down and use caution if traveling in the area to help keep our emergency responders on scene safe.
We will provide an update later today when the road reopens.

On Monday, December 6th, 2021, at approximately 02:08 a.m., Craik RCMP responded to a serious vehicle collision involving two semi trucks with trailers approximately 10 km north of Davidson, Sask. The north bound lanes of Hwy #11 are currently blocked. Craik RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
