Search Continues Over Weekend for 77-Year-Old Frances Gazeley

UPDATE:

The investigation into missing person 77-year-old Frances Gazeley continued through the weekend.

The focus remains on locating her and investigators are asking members of the public who live in the communities of Weyburn, Ceylon, Minton, Bengough, Colgate and all surrounding rural areas, to please check their fields and any outbuildings on their property for signs of Frances and/or any clothing that wouldn’t normally be there.

Please report any related findings to Weyburn Police Service by calling 306-848-3250 or call your nearest RCMP Detachment.

They are also asking anyone with property in the above noted areas with trail or security cameras to please check them for signs of Frances, out of the ordinary activity or if you saw a grey, four-door 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, license plate 479 LKW on December 7 or 8, 2021.

77-year-old Frances Gazeley has not been located. She has not been physically seen since Monday or Tuesday last week (December 6 or 7, 2021).

Frances is described as being 5’6” tall with blue eyes and grey hair. She requires medication that she does not have with her. A photograph of her is attached.

Frances may be wearing a purple or blue-ish winter coat and short black boots.

51-year-old Shane Burrows, the Chevrolet Cavalier and dog have been located. It has been confirmed Frances is not with Mr. Burrows. 

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is assisting Weyburn Police Service with this ongoing investigation and both agencies are concerned for her wellbeing.

At this time, RCMP cannot confirm whether this missing person investigation is suspicious in nature.
