Obituaries: Edward E Jackson

Our loving father Edward Ernest Jackson passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the age of 93. He was born on November 24, 1928 in Eston, Saskatchewan to Ernest and Helen Jackson, and was a large part of the Eston farming and church community. Dad married Evelyn Hollingshead of Saskatoon in March of 1952 and welcomed a large family of five boys and one girl. Mom and Dad were a big part of the United Church community, where Dad was the choir director for 45 years. He and Mom had a passion for music, and were involved with the United Church Choir and many other groups for many years. Dad was predeceased by his parents; loving wife Ev of 63 years, and son Don. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. People wishing to honour Dad’s life can make donations to the Eston Health Centre / Jubilee Lodge (Eston Caring Hands) or Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan

There will be a private service and interment held for the family at this time and a Public Celebration of Life is being planned for summer 2022.
