The Kindersley & District Food Bank Pick Up $5,000 Synergy Credit Union Cheque!
The Kindersley & District Food Bank were the $5,000 charity winners of the Synergy Credit Union Member Rewards Support Local Challenge!
Recently, they picked up their cheque and were thrilled to share they will use the funds to continue purchasing milk, cheese, margarine, eggs and produce to add to their monthly hampers.
The Kindersley & District Food Bank is a charitable community powered organization with no government support working to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution. In 2021 the Kindersley & District Food Bank packed 1287 hampers assisting 2266 clients. 30% of these clients are children and 10% are seniors. The Kindersley & District Food Bank distributed over 100,000 pounds of food in 2021.
