Kinderlsey RCMP apprehended the barricaded suspect without incident
Kindersley RCMP advises residents and travellers in the downtown area of Kindersley the situation has been resolved. Police officers successfully apprehended the suspect without incident. No one was injured. The roads are in the process of being reopened.
Kindersley RCMP would like to thank the population of Kindersley for cooperating with police officers and thank their local partners, the Rosetown Traffic Services and the Town of Kindersley, for helping police resolve the situation safely.

Kindersley RCMP and Rosetown Traffic Services are currently responding to a potential armed and barricaded situation at an apartment building on the 110th block of Main Street in Kindersley, SK.
The building is being secured by police officers. Traffic barricades have been placed around the area. Additional RCMP resources are en route to assist with the situation.
Residents in the community and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
There will be an increased police presence in the community for an undetermined amount of time.
