Police Target Street Level Drug Trafficking Activity in Saskatoon
The Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit concluded two investigations in February, targeting street level, drug trafficking activity in Saskatoon.
The first investigation concluded on February 1, 2022, when a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were taken into custody without incident. Search warrants were then executed in a residence on O’Neil Crescent and in the 200 block of Hassard Close. This resulted in the seizure of the following items:
59.5 grams of cocaine
$10,150.00 cash
911 grams buffing agent
Seven cellular phones
Six digital scales and packaging consistent with street level drug sales
A 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2014 Ford Fusion
The pair are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000.
The second investigation concluded on February 17, 2022, when a 25-year-old Alberta man was taken into custody outside a business in the 2800 block of Millar Avenue. A search warrant was then executed at a suite in the 400 block of 2nd Avenue South, resulting in the arrest of a 26-year-old British Columbia man and a 21-year-old Saskatoon woman. In total the following items were seized as a result of the investigation:
Approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale at the half gram level

The three accused are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Crack Cocaine, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000.
