Information about Street Sweeping in Town
Once snow has melted in early spring, the Town of Kindersley’s priority is to clean sand and salt residue off the streets.
Sand and salt is used throughout the winter months to treat surface ice and ensure that roadways and intersections are safe for travel. Higher amounts of sediment can be found on priority routes, which include main arterial roads, emergency routes, and school zones, as they receive more attention during winter months.
The Town’s regular schedule begins in May, however, it could be out earlier depending on the weather. Watch for street sweeping signage on your block! Be sure to sign up for the Voyent Alert app to get up to date notifications on when your street will be cleaned.
