Kindersley and District Food Bank Receives Large Donations in June
Throughout the month of June, the Kindersley and District Food Bank saw a stretch of donations thanks to local events that were held around the community.
First off, the Food Bank received a donation of $5230.00 from the Whitecap Family Golf and BBQ . The money was raised through a silent auction with donations from local vendors.
A whopping 253 pounds of food was also donated thanks to the Kindersley Rodeo Committee. On the Thursday night of the rodeo weekend, residents were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item along to the rodeo to receive $5 off their admission!
