Rosetown RCMP Called To Reports of Mischief, Assault, MVC

June 24 at 12:31am– Rosetown RCMP received a report of mischief in Rosetown, SK. Members attended and arrested an intoxicated female. At 12:15am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. There were no injuries – matter was reported for insurance purposes. At 7:13pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Tessier, SK. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the vehicle driver. At 8:37pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of mischief in Wiseton, SK. Members attended and arrested-charged a 34 year old male with Assault and released for court.

June 25 at 11:09pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members patrolled the area but found no suspicious activity.

June 26 at 3:12pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner. At 3:14pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a tractor on fire. The fire was extinguished by the owner and was not suspicious in nature.

June 27 at 9:41pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of harassing communications. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

June 28 at 12:05am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an assault in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 7:59am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision near Rosetown, SK. Members attended along with EMS and a 21-year-old female from Rosetown was pronounced deceased at the scene. At 8:06am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 8:37am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle near Harris, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 9:31am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of Breach of Probation. The matter is still under investigation.

There were 14 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 mis-dial call and 2 false alarm calls.
