From Rodeo to Ice: WCEC Prepares for Hockey Season with Chilly Transformation

Well, the time is here and now we are transitioning from rodeo to ice skating at the WCEC. The facility staff are busy putting in the ice and making sure the lines are straight and colored. Next comes the sponsors ads on the ice and on the surrounding boards. All this happens in a relatively short time as hockey training camps start in August. All too soon, the sounds of blades on ice, slapshots and body checking will be heard as players of all ages get ready for the upcoming season.

If you are looking for need to do this winter, be sure to come on down and cheer on ALL the players who will be doing their best to have fun and be competitive!
