Rosetown RCMP Report
September 2 at 1:30 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a 2-vehicle collision in Rosetown. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes. At 6:30 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of uttering threats. The matter is still under investigation. At 10:49 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person on Highway 7 near Zealandia. Members attended and spoke to the subject of complaint.
September 3 at 11:05 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 7 near Rosetown. Members attended but found no suspicious activity.
September 4 at 12:20– Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Fiske, SK. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the subject of complaint. At 6:28 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report an assault at a rural residence. Members attended and removed a 29-year-old male from the residence.
September 5 at 2:03 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a stolen trailer from a residence in Herschel, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 9:43 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person at a rural farmyard. The matter is still under investigation. At 10:12 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a sudden death of a 69-year-old male from Elrose, SK. The death was not suspicious in nature. At 10:26 p.m.– Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Fiske, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
September 6 at 10:00 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Darcy, SK. Members patrolled but were unable to locate the vehicle. At 10:52 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer near Rosetown, SK. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes. At 11:13 a.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a
residence in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 3:00 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP assisted another RCMP detachment with the execution of their warrant.
September 7 at 9:04 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. Members located the vehicle and a warning was issued to the vehicle driver.
There were 78 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 mis-dial call and 2 false alarm
calls.
