What an exciting afternoon of high school football at Rotary Field in Kindersley as the hometown Kobras hosted the visiting Watrous Wildcats in the provincial quarter finals.
The Kindersley Kobras won the game by a score of 37 to 31. The game was full of twists and turnovers as both teams managed to put points on the board early. The wind was blustery to start the game but as the afternoon went on, the wind lessened to where it was manageable .
A Kobra give-away late in the game seemed to seal the deal for Watrous but the Kobras showed their heart and a never-give-up attitude to score a touchdown in the final minute.
Todays winner plays on the road next in either Clavet or Rosthern.
Well done lads!
