It’s the Thunder’s second-ever title; its first win was in 2013. Now, Regina advances to the Canadian Bowl, which is to be played Nov. 12 at Mosaic Stadium, where they will face the Okanagan Sun.
Regina enters the national final with a 10-0 record.
This season, Zack Schmidt, Linda Resch’s grandson was signed to the Regina Thunder Football Team as a kicker and punter.
Congratulations Zack and the rest of the Thunder!
