Two Arrested in Saskatoon Drug Trafficking Investigation
The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team has made two arrests in connection to a drug trafficking investigation.
On November 24th, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the SPS Tactical Support Unit executed a warrant in the 100 block of Avenue C North. Investigators believed a suspect at the residence was trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine, and had access to firearms. As a result, a 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested without further incident.
The following was seized as part of the investigation:
97.2 grams powdered cocaine
241.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine
2 x crossbows with arrows
$940.00 cash
56 unknown pills
Cell phone, scales, packaging and other indicia consistent with drug trafficking.
Stolen property (E-Bike and E-Scooter)
Both the man and woman face numerous drug related charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (Cocaine and Methamphetamine); weapons charges including Possession of a Dangerous Weapon; both face further charges of Possession of the Proceeds of Crime, and Breach of Conditions.
