Suspicious Person, Fraud, Erratic Driver Part of Rosetown’s RCMP Report

January 13 at 6:35am Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 4. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes. At 8:54am – Rosetown RCMP provided assistance to Highway Patrol during a traffic stop. At 4:29pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. Members were unable to locate the
vehicle. At 7:26pm – Rosetown RCMP received a request for assistance with an individual refusing to get into a vehicle. Members attended and transported a 15-year-old male to hospital for assessment. At 6:53pm – Rosetown RCMP received a request for a wellbeing check in Rosetown, SK. Members attended and spoke to the subject of complaint.

January 17 at 6:05am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person on Highway 4. Members patrolled the area and after a lengthy search members arrested and charged a 44-year-old male from Manitoba with resist a peace officer. At 8:18am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on
Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 8:28am– Rosetown RCMP received a report of a vehicle stuck in the ditch near Harris, SK. Members attended – there were no injuries, the driver was waiting on a tow. At 3:31pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 5:06pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of theft of parts from a vehicle at a local business. The matter is still under investigation.

January 18 at 8:33am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of fraud to an individuals bank account in Harris, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. At 12:44pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a hit and run at a parking lot in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

There were 32 Traffic related charges issued and 1 911 mis-dial call.
