Crucial Week for Kindersley Klippers
It was a great atmosphere in Rosetown Saturday night as the community welcomed the Kindersley Klippers and the Nipawin Hawks for a neutral site game. Unfortunately, the Klippers couldn’t secure a win as they lost 3-2 in a shootout.
Going into this week, the Klippers will play 4 games in 5 nights against two teams that are currently occupying 8th and 9th in the SJHL standings, and our hometown team needs to seal some wins if they have hopes of getting back in the playoff race
Unfortunately, a win didn’t happen last night when the Klippers lost to the Weyburn 6-4. The Klippers started off strong ending the first period with three goals, but things came apart in the third period with the Red Wings scoring 5 goals in the final period.
Tonight, the Klippers take on the Notre Dame Hounds at 8pm ST.
