Tylin Hilbig Chats With Kevin
It was a sunny afternoon in Kindersley when I sat down with Jr. Klipper, Tylin Hilbig or “Hilly” as he is affectionately called by his teammates.
Tylin is the 2022 – 2023 Klipper representative for the RBC-SJHL Community Ambassador program. This is given to an athlete who has made and continues to make positive contributions in their communities.
Although unsure how the selection process works, Tylin was surprised and happy to be chosen as he has always tried to help out around town as much as he can. If chosen as the winner, he plans to donate his winnings to 2 local schools to help them buy sports equipment.
RBC Community Ambassadors will be recognized in their respective communities with an RBC Game Night. Tylin will be recognized on February 24th at a home game against the Notre Dame Hounds. Fans will be able to vote online for the candidate of their choice until the end of the regular season.
As for plans after hockey? Well, nothing concrete yet as he has 1 more year left with the Klippers. Maybe university to take business and follow in the steps of former Klipper Justen Close?
