Junior Klippers vs La Ronge Ice Wolves

Now THAT was a game to remember! The visiting La Ronge Ice Wolves have come to Kindersley for a double-header series against our Jr Klippers and last night’s match up was an awesome display of skills and heart. Our guys came out on top by a score of 3 to 2 and it was an exciting game from start to finish!
The only mishap was Brock Evan’s getting an errant puck in the face. He was down for several minutes and left a bit of blood on the ice but he got up and skated to the bench a little wobbly. He’s a tough kid and will be back for Saturday night.
Goals by Cameron Rimstad, Logan Linklater and Kayden Ostrem rounded out the scoring with Tylin Hilbig getting 2 helpers. Goalie Logan Falk was solid and kept the team in the game.
Shots on goal was 40 – 33 for La Ronge. Attendance was listed at 783. Let’s see what the Saturday game produces. With the win tonight, the worst we can do is a split. Go Klippers!!
