Kindersley Chamber of Commerce Shares Details of Upcoming Career Day
The 2023 Career Day hosted by the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce on March 22nd at the Kindersley Composite High School is going to be a big deal! Even though this Career Day is open to EVERYONE, the targeted age group is students who want to go to work right after high school, or who maybe taking time off from higher learning for the time being. There are many careers that can be found.
“We will have presentations on entrepreneurship and owning your own business hosted by Community Futures/Meridian, presentations by the Sask Health Authority, learn how to paint virtually through Vold’s Collision, welding with Dennis Welding, hospitality and restaurant industry with Best Western Plus – Montana’s, wind turbine construction with Borea Construction, oilfield industry being represented by Hollands Hot Oiling and Long Horn Oil & Gas, Kindersley Co-op, Impact Energy, Mid-Plains Diesel, banking with RBC, law enforcement – RCMP, Fountain Tire, Pattison Ag, Cargill, Somerville Farms, Sask Power and more,” shared Kevin Martin, Executive Director of the Kindersley Chamber.
Those attending are reminded to bring your resume as there will be the opportunity to speak to a potential employer of your choice.
Career Day will run from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Parking available at the Kindersley pool lot across from the school.
